There are some other dolls from that time, that look similiar to Karina. There is Tina (left) from USA and there is Tanya (middle) from Italy. The doll on the right side is a real Karina.







Some Karinas have a Busch logo on their back (see picture below). Tina has no markings at all



The italian Tanya has a simple Hong Kong marking on her back (see picture below)



Karina's neck has markings. Mostly it is the year "1979", a number and sometimes "Hong Kong" (see picture below)



Tanya has smaller hands than Karina. Tina has straight arms and no movable hands (see picture below)
